Lovin' the Big Apple
This was our first time using a CityPASS. We were planning our trip when we saw several activity passes for New York. This was the best option for us since we were only staying for 5 days. When we got to the various attractions, we compared prices. We saved a lot! I've now recommended this pass to friends who plan a trip to the Big Apple. Price to be checked for childs and students
Be careful, If you visit only 4/5 attractions, you won't save any money, and it seems that for less that 12 years children the pass is far more expensive than the real price. Anyway, the pass is very easy to use and the attractions are fantastic.
I had a very bad surprise when I have made the reservation for Guggenheim museum. The reservation is made on the museum official site, using the citypass reference as voucher. I had a pass for 3 adults and a child (until 17) for my 15 years old child. But for the museum a child is less than 13, so that the voucher has not been accepted and I have paid an extra charge of $28, which is the full price for and adult. That means that for my child I have finally paid more than for an adult (less than18 pass + extra charge).

Very time and money serving
City pass is a must if you plan to visit many paid attractions in New York. You always have to calculate the cost of the city pass vs the cost of the city attractions separated and compare. Is very useful being a foreigner and not having much time to go around to have everything pre booked and organized. But don't forget to research about each attraction before and get to know what are you going to find in there. For example the Ferry to Statue of liberty and Ellie Island can take your whole day.
