Best Time to Visit

After 12pm is the best time to visit.

To get the full experience, allow about two hours for your visit. If you're short on time, don't miss The Historical Exhibition: September 11, 2001.

Admission is free on Mondays from 5:30-7pm. Tickets are available on the Museum website each Monday beginning at 7am ET and are first-come, first-served.

Guided Tour

Join a staff member on a 60-minute guided tour of the Museum, examining authentic artifacts to understand what happened on 9/11, how people responded in the aftermath of the attacks, and the history and rebuilding of the World Trade Center. Tours are oriented for adult and teenage visitors. Based on availability. All tours are in English. Purchase directly at the Museum either at the Box Office or at the Guided Tour Information Desk (first level, next to the escalators). Price varies.

Museum & Memorial Closed (remembrance): The Museum is closed to the public on 9/10 after 3pm and on 9/11. The Memorial is closed to the public until 3pm on 9/11.

Free Visit: Museum admission is free on Mondays from 5:30pm-close. First-come, first-served tickets are available on the Museum website each Monday beginning at 7am ET.

The Memorial features two enormous waterfalls and reflecting pools, each about an acre in size, set within the footprints of the original Twin Towers.

Lovin' the Big Apple
This was our first time using a CityPASS. We were planning our trip when we saw several activity passes for New York. This was the best option for us since we were only staying for 5 days. When we got to the various attractions, we compared prices. We saved a lot! I've now recommended this pass to friends who plan a trip to the Big Apple. We would definitely buy one again when we visit another big city.

We loved the city pass! It allowed for flexibility in our days as well as allowed us to feel like we got our money's worth, without the pressure of feeling like we needed to stay in each museum or landmark all day. I will definitely continue to use CityPASS for the cities where available.

But, we made the last minute decision at the Airport before our flight to purchase them. We’re so glad we did! The attractions included were all on our “must do” list, and we saved a lot of money by purchasing this pass. The app is extremely easy to use. Highly recommend to anyone going to New York!

Viaje con mis 2 hijos de 11 y 13 años, era la 2a vez que viajaba a NY, pues la 1ra vez se nos presentó un contratiempo y perdimos 3 dias de actividades, opte por el CityPASS de 5 actividades para realizar en 4 días y medio, fue bastante apretado el itinerario, practicamente una maratón, pero muy buena la plataforma, me permitió hacer modificaciones en las reservas y horarios y al final logré hacer todas las actividades, quedamos felices con mis hijos y fue una experiencia inolvidable.
