Advice for Visitors

Tips

Best Time to Visit

Peak periods are often in the early to mid-afternoon hours. Advance reservations are required to secure your tour time.

Arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure time. Please consider the high traffic volume in downtown Toronto when planning your travel time, and allow time for parking.

Advance reservations are required. Consider booking early if you can because boat tours often sell out, especially on weekends and holidays.

Remember to dress appropriately for the season.

Snack food and drinks, including a fully licensed bar, is offered aboard the Oriole vessel. CDN or US cash is accepted, as well as all major debit and credit cards.

Cruises have plenty of comfortable indoor space and are a great way to see the sights of Toronto from the water during cooler weather.

Attraction Features

Accessibility

Due to ship-build compliance requirements, vessels are not fully accessible. The Oriole can use a ramp to accommodate non-motorized wheelchairs at boarding; however, the bathrooms are located on the lower level. Access to the upper deck does require the use of stairs.

Parking/Transportation

Nearby paid parking options include:
Harbourfront Centre Parking, 235 Queens Quay, Toronto, ON M5J 2G8 (3-minute walk to Queen's Quay Terminal)
Southcore Financial Centre, 18 York St, Toronto, ON M5J2T8 (9-minute walk to Queen's Quay Terminal)
RBC Waterpark Place, 83 Queens Quay W, Toronto, ON M5J 2T5 (5-minute walk to Queen's Quay Terminal)

If driving, please plan enough time to find parking and walk to the pier; you may need to try multiple parking garages as they can fill up. Be sure to consider traffic congestion and give yourself ample time to park and walk to the terminal. Please arrive at the pier no later than 20 minutes before boarding time.

If walking from CN Tower or Ripley's Aquarium of Canada, please allow 15 minutes.

Fabulous!
I found a CityPASS for Toronto and bought it. After that the whole trip fell into our laps! There is so much to do in Toronto that we were in over our heads before this! The CityPASS has so much to offer for every kind of person!
Great deal! A must try for all
Great price for amazing attractions. Have used it every time friends and family visit from outside the country. Love it!
Worth it for those travelling on a budget
I don't usually buy passes like this because usually you're paying for things you don't really want to do. And as a backpacker every dollar counts! However, I had planned on visiting the Toronto Zoo, the CN Tower and The Royal Ontario Museum and those three alone would have been worth more than the cost of the CityPASS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Need another option for CN Tower in the winter We bought the City pass a few weekends ago (mid February 2026), We were planning on going to 4 of the attractions anyway and so decided to get the pass, the CN Tower was the one we not were planning to do. All the other attractions met our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The CN Tower was a disappointment as fog rolled in after the first 15 minutes of our visit at the top and so we had nothing else to do. It would be nice if there was another option we could have switched the CN Tower for in the winter months (the harbour tour was not running in the winter)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pass time limit is too short CityPASS is good but the 9 day limit is not fair. It should be at least 30 days. Please change your policy what is someone take ill. Need more time on the pass
