Walk through the Zoo's newest habitat, Down Under. There’s no place on Earth like Australia. In this multi-species habitat, you’ll go on an enchanting journey through this extraordinary part of the world. Get closer than ever in Wallaby Way, an immersive pathway experience that puts you eye-to-eye with friendly red-necked wallabies and red kangaroos.

Visit one of the largest and most complex elephant habitats in North America. The Toyota Elephant Passage features 2 miles of interconnected trails on 10 acres of varied terrain. In this unique multiple-species habitat, Asian elephants, greater one-horned rhinos, and Malayan tapirs rotate among five unique and abundant habitats.

Take a truly magical journey into the jungle at Tropical Discovery, with nearly 300 species and 1,800 individual animals. Advice for Visitors
Tips
The zoo is less busy just after the gates open and in the early afternoon. Mid-morning to noon is often the busiest time. Please be aware that animals may choose to stay in the shade or behind the scenes when temperatures rise.

Parking/Transportation
Parking at Denver Zoo is free for guests. You may park in any of the lots adjacent to Denver Zoo or in the four-level parking garage. Access is along 23rd Avenue between York Street and Colorado Boulevard near the Denver Zoo main entrance.
