Advice for Visitors

Tips

Planetarium and daytime laser shows require reservations, which you can make onsite at the entrance gates or at the information desk near the Live Science Stage. Availability is limited and the free tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis, so secure yours as soon as possible upon arrival. Please note: The Planetarium shows are popular and may sell out, particularly during busy holiday seasons.

To get the full experience, allow about two to three hours for your visit. If you're short on time, don't miss The Tropical Butterfly House.

Pacific Science Center allows guests to re-enter during their visit. Simply show your ticket or hand-stamp to a cashier for re-entry.

Seattle CityPASS
Excellent Value and Selection
We highly recommend getting the Seattle CityPASS. We were really overwhelmed with all of the activities when we started planning our trip through Seattle; there is so much to do. It gave us a really well rounded tour of the highlights of Seattle.
The Way to Go
For your money's worth, the CityPASS Seattle is the best way to go. Not only did it include the best attractions in Seattle for the adults, it was perfect for the children, too.
We Rocked Seattle
Our family of four had great fun touring Seattle's best sites! Despite being locals, we don't often get the time to see all the fun family destinations that Seattle has to offer. These passes paid for themselves within the first two locations compared to regular entry fees.
CityPass Seattle
This was one of the coolest things we have ever purchased while traveling and I would recommend it to anyone! We saw all of Seattle, with two little kids, and we did it for half the price.
A no-brainer if you visit Space Needle and more...
Two trips to Space Needle alone is almost the price of the Seattle CityPASS. If you do anything nearby like Chihuly and MoPOP, you're already ahead.
Seattle CityPASS is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 10447.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Save Money & Save Time with C5 Seattle CityPASS was easy to use and saved me money compared to buying tickets separately (C5). The attractions were fun, the process was simple, and it made planning my trip much easier with reservations. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone visiting Seattle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So nice I got it twice! This had everything we wanted to do in Seattle for a 3 day weekend. I've gotten it twice in Seattle and it was still worth it the second time because we did some of the options I didn't do the first time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value highly recommend I bought a city pass for 5 attractions on my recent trip to Seattle. I thought it was great and very good value. It does last for 9 days so please make sure you are aware of this but they very kindly extended my pass by a day so that I could visit the aquarium as I hadnt realised. I used mine for the space needle, aquarium, glass museum and harbour tour. I didnt have enough time to book the 5th attraction but would have booked the science centre If I could. Great value
