Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island

Statue of Liberty’s Crown Climb

The Statue of Liberty’s crown reopened to visitors on July 4, 2009. Reservations to make the strenuous climb are very limited**, and must be made in advance, either through the Statue Cruises Web site at www.statuecruises.com or by phone at 877-LADY-TIX (877-523-9849). Height and health restrictions apply.

CityPass tickets do not include the crown climb or a Monument Pass; both must be secured separately, from Statue Cruises.

For more information, please visit these Crown Ticket FAQs from the National Park Service.

**The crown access tickets are extremely limited, with only 30 individuals allowed into the crown per hour. As a result, they sell out far in advance of the actual travel date. Tickets are available for sale up to one year prior to the date of travel, so we recommend individuals book in advance as early as possible. However, there is no guarantee that crown tickets will be available for dates that are in high demand.
