HOW TO ENTER WITH YOUR CITYPASS TICKET:First, enter the main security checkpoint line. Once through security, present booklet at the 2nd floor access points to skip the main ticket line. Exchange your e-ticket for a CityPass booklet at the main ticket windows. Present CityPass again at the audio tour kiosk on the 80th floor for a free audio tour. INSIDER TIPS:The Observatory is now open until 2 a.m. every night. By night, one is simply mesmerized by the sparkling array of stars and lights that look like a galaxy of diamonds on black velvet.
You can avoid long lines at security and the elevators by just telling any employee that you want to upgrade to Express Pass for an additional $25. You will then be moved to the front of each line.
