Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to choose the attractions before I purchase? You can decide which attractions to visit after purchasing, but we suggest making advance reservations where possible once you receive your CityPASS® tickets.

How will I receive my tickets? When you purchase from citypass.com, you’ll receive an email shortly afterward with a ticket for each individual in your party. You can print the email if you prefer a hard copy. CityPASS® admission cards are available at some attractions.

When can I use my tickets? The validity period is 9 consecutive days starting with and including the first day you visit an attraction. You can start using your tickets as soon as you receive your ticket email or anytime within a year from date of purchase.

What do I need to show to enter an attraction? Depending on the attraction, you will either present your CityPASS® tickets, your attraction reservation, or both.

Will I have to pay for admission at attractions if I have CityPASS tickets? You will not have to pay anything additional for the admission that is included with CityPASS tickets. Some attractions do offer upgrades for purchase, but these are not required. You can see exactly what is included with CityPASS admission for each CityPASS product on our website.

Do I need to visit attractions in a specific order? You can visit attractions in any order you would like.

Can I visit more than one attraction in a day? There is no limit to how many attractions you can visit in a day.

Can I visit the attractions more than once? Tickets are valid for one-time admission to each attraction unless otherwise noted in each attraction’s admission details.

Can we split up and visit different attractions? In cities with reservation requirements, reservations will be made together for all tickets in an order. If you know that members of your party would like to visit different attractions and/or visit at different times, please place an order for each party that plans to visit attractions together. If you’re not sure yet, you can still place your order. Then, if you decide that you want to split up and visit different attractions after placing your order, you will need to contact Customer Care BEFORE making reservations at ANY attraction. For cities without reservations, travelers can visit different attractions; they will need their ticket downloaded to their phone or printed.

Do CityPASS® tickets include parking? No. Please check individual attraction websites to find parking information.

My child is younger than the CityPASS child age range. Should I purchase a child ticket? Children younger than the CityPASS child age range can still use a child CityPASS ticket. The child age ranges at attractions vary. You can review child age ranges and admission prices to determine if a child CityPASS ticket is the best option for you. Please note that if you don't purchase a CityPASS ticket for your child, you may need to purchase child admission tickets and/or make reservations for your child at some attractions, depending on your child's age.

Do CityPASS® tickets provide any other discounts at attractions? When CityPASS® tickets include a choice of attractions, attractions may offer admission discounts so you can visit additional attractions at a savings.

CityPASS was a vacation life saver!!

My husband and I purchased two passes and it was THE BEST investment ever. Our weekend getaway was jam packed with exciting things to do. We didn't have to worry about carrying enough money or standing in long lines.

Great experience

It was easy to buy online, easy to use and was so worth it. We took the family to Houston to hit up all the museums, zoo, and aquarium; the works. We had an amazing time and had no issues using our CityPASS. We bought it online and printed the confirmation. Easy.

The CityPASS was the best thing I have ever purchased for one of our vacations! It gave us so many things to do and at a very affordable price for a family of 5! I will purchase a CityPASS every time we go on vacation from now on!

The BEST option for having fun around Houston

This is really the best option you´ve got. I had family visiting for a week and we decided to give it a try...it was totally worth it! The options available are on point, plus you get amazing discounts and coupons...all of this for a considerably lower price than you would if you paid for each option individually. So go for it!

CityPASS ROCKS! I am a single parent to 3 awesome kiddos. This year I had family visit from CA and needed to show them the great state of Texas, but on a budget. I found the Houston CityPASS while doing a search and was I excited.

Está limitado a ciertas actividades en algunos de los destinos, pero aún así creemos que vale la pena, en algunos destinos te preguntan si quieres hacer un upgrade, claro, con costo adicional. En nuestro caso llevamos niños de 11 y 13 años y en Kemah para los juegos estuvo genial, aunque por las fechas había filas pero pasamos días muy agradables. Nosotros visitamos: NASA, Kemah Boardway, Aquarium Dowtown y Zoo. Tuvimos otras actividades que nos impidieron usar uno de los destinos que aún podíamos visitar, nos quedamos con ganas del Musel de Historia, pero esperamos en la siguiente visita asistir.

The Museum of Natural History and the aquarium require an additional fee to access some of their most interesting attractions. Whereas everything is included when purchasing the regular pass individually. The aquarium is a waste of time. Go to the Zoo to see better aquariums and sea life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pankaj from Absolutely unforgettable experience I bought 3 Houston CityPASS for Christmas and New Year holidays, just paid $79 for 5 attractions including Houston Space Center (NASA), Kemah Boardwalk, Houston Natural Science Museum, Houston Fina Arts, Houston Downtown Aquarium. It was so easy to use through the mobile app. I saved a lot of money. I would recommend this to the Houstonites and anyone who is visiting Houston.
