Downtown Aquarium, Houston takes you on a journey through a series of immersive, themed aquatic exhibits designed for unhurried exploration. As you move from habitat to habitat, you’ll encounter the diversity of marine life from coastal bayous to tropical oceans, viewing the thoughtfully designed habitats through large windows. Interpretive displays provide context and encourage closer observation. This walkable, indoor, family-friendly experience lets you to linger at favorite exhibits or move fluidly through the galleries.

General Admission: Aquarium Adventure Exhibit — Entry includes 500,000 gallons of underwater exhibits with domestic and international marine species on display.

Highlights

    Tour the marsh and bayous of the Gulf Coast in the Texas Bayou exhibit. Experience wild encounters with gators, alligator snapping turtles, and spotted gar, and see the crayfish, catfish and bullfrogs that make this a true Cajun Country experience.

    Step back in time when you enter the Shipwreck. From inside the sunken hull of a 17th century Spanish galleon, see the amazing diversity of species the ocean holds, including living coral reefs, a spotted moray eel, plus a colorful array of fish.

  3. 03.

    Visit the lush Rainforest exhibit and keep an eye out for red-bellied piranhas and venomous freshwater stingrays. See an emerald tree boa, rainforest frogs, and archerfish.

The six-acre entertainment and dining complex is home to a 500,000-gallon aquatic wonderland, with over 400 species of aquatic life from around the globe.

CityPASS was a vacation life saver!!
My husband and I purchased two passes and it was THE BEST investment ever. Our weekend getaway was jam packed with exciting things to do. We didn't have to worry about carrying enough money or standing in long lines.

The BEST option for having fun around Houston
This is really the best option you´ve got. I had family visiting for a week and we decided to give it a try...it was totally worth it! The options available are on point, plus you get amazing discounts and coupons...all of this for a considerably lower price than you would if you paid for each option individually. So go for it!
