Avengers Campus Opens at Disney California Adventure Park

July 7, 2021 By Deborah Wakefield

Avengers Campus, an all-new land in Disney California Adventure® Park, is now open and actively recruiting and training the next generation of Super Heroes. On this immersive campus, you can team up with Black Panther, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and more. You might even catch a glimpse of the trickster Loki.

Within Avengers Campus, you'll encounter Disneyland® Resort's newest, coolest experiences. Head to the family-friendly WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, where you can put your web-slinging skills to the test. Your mission: Team up with Spider-Man and help capture a pack of out-of-control Spider-Bots before they wreak total havoc on Avengers Campus. To experience this ride, you'll need to join a virtual queue — standby lines will not be available. You'll be able to join at 7AM and 12PM daily using the Disneyland® app, and you'll be able to enter the queue once per day. Then charge over to Guardians of the Galaxy—Mission: BREAKOUT! and help Rocket Raccoon rescue the Guardians from the fortress of the villainous Collector.

Witness the gravity-defying feats of Spider-Man as he swings high above Avengers Campus. Train with Black Panther and the Dora Milaje, Wakanda's corps of ultra-elite guards. Learn the secrets of the mystic arts from Doctor Strange himself when you enter the Ancient Sanctum. Among the Sanctum's most curious artifacts is the Orb of Cagliostro, which becomes active after sunset, flowing with light and magical energy. Tip: Try to catch the Dr. Strange show in the evening, when the lighting is especially dramatic and beautiful.

When it's time to refuel your superhuman powers, there's no better place than Pym Test Kitchen featuring IMPOSSIBLE™, an Ant-Man and The Wasp-themed restaurant. Here, "researchers" (aka the restaurant's culinary team) use Dr. Hank Pym's growing and shrinking technology to create new innovations in food science. Try the "spoonful" of cereal for breakfast. Don't worry about not getting enough to eat; the spoon in question has gone through Pym's enlarging process and is as big as a bowl. For lunch, the Not-So-Little-Chicken Sandwich (giant chicken breast and tiny bun) is as delicious as it is Instagrammable. For heroes age 21 and over, craft beers and cocktails are on hand at the nearby Pym Lab.

Quick service food options include Terran Treats, whose colorful Sweet Spiral Rations (churros coiled into circles) are the new must-have goody; and the Shawarma Palace cart, where you can grab a chicken shawarma wrap or a plant-based Impossible™ Victory Falafel.

WEB Suppliers, Avengers Campus' "one-stop hero shop," is the best place to stock up on merch for your next mission. You can even take home a Spider-Bot, hopefully one that's better behaved than those running amok on the WEB SLINGERS ride.

Both a Theme Park reservation and valid ticket for the same Park on the same date are required for Park entry. Certain attractions, restaurants, experiences and offerings may be modified, limited in capacity or unavailable. Park admission and offerings are not guaranteed.
