Advice for Visitors

Tips

Planetarium and daytime laser shows require reservations, which you can make onsite at the entrance gates or at the information desk near the Live Science Stage. Availability is limited and the free tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis, so secure yours as soon as possible upon arrival. Please note: The Planetarium shows are popular and may sell out, particularly during busy holiday seasons.

To get the full experience, allow about two to three hours for your visit. If you're short on time, don't miss The Tropical Butterfly House.

Pacific Science Center allows guests to re-enter during their visit. Simply show your ticket or hand-stamp to a cashier for re-entry.

Seattle CityPASS
Excellent Value and Selection
We highly recommend getting the Seattle CityPASS. We were really overwhelmed with all of the activities when we started planning our trip through Seattle; there is so much to do. It gave us a really well rounded tour of the highlights of Seattle.
The Way to Go
For your money's worth, the CityPASS Seattle is the best way to go. Not only did it include the best attractions in Seattle for the adults, it was perfect for the children, too.
We Rocked Seattle
Our family of four had great fun touring Seattle's best sites! Despite being locals, we don't often get the time to see all the fun family destinations that Seattle has to offer. These passes paid for themselves within the first two locations compared to regular entry fees.
CityPass Seattle
This was one of the coolest things we have ever purchased while traveling and I would recommend it to anyone! We saw all of Seattle, with two little kids, and we did it for half the price.
A no-brainer if you visit Space Needle and more...
Two trips to Space Needle alone is almost the price of the Seattle CityPASS. If you do anything nearby like Chihuly and MoPOP, you're already ahead.
Seattle CityPASS is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 10481.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best way to see Seattle Convenient way to plan your visit to the Emerald City! I was independently ranking landmarks to visit when I stumbled upon CityPASS, it saved me time and money in planning visits and purchasing tickets! Efficiently synced from the app to attraction websites so I could book specific visit times or upgrade as required. Highly recommend the sunset tour for argosy cruises in the summer, Rainier had a beautiful pink hue!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Choice in Travel My experience with CityPASS was wonderful! I flew my father to Seattle to celebrate our very first Father's Day together, and CityPASS made it possible for me to treat him to Seattle's top attractions without breaking the bank. Even though I live here, I had never visited Chihuly Garden and Glass. We were both speechless at the beauty of the artwork. We also enjoyed lunch at the café, which was delicious, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. We had an amazing time at the Space Needle. While my dad enjoyed a drink, I savored some of our famous Rainier cherries as we took in the breathtaking views of the city and surrounding mountains. Our Argosy Harbor Cruise was relaxing, fun, educational, and very family-friendly. I also appreciated that they offer ADA accessibility, making the experience welcoming for everyone. Visiting the Seattle Aquarium was especially memorable because my dad had never been to an aquarium before. Watching the giant Pacific octopus being fed was definitely a highlight! Purchasing CityPASS ended up being one of the best decisions of our trip. For five straight days, we always had something exciting to do, and we created memories we'll both treasure for years to come. I highly recommend CityPASS to anyone visiting Seattle—it offers incredible value and lets you experience so much of what makes the city special.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Neither great nor terrible Bought the pass for Seattle and it was very handy for three venues on the old Worlds Fair site. Noted that the passes are very difficult to manage if the group is splitting up or attending at different times. Also was complicated to juggle the passes at the gates for entry. Did I save money? I dunno, we skipped some of the options so it might have been easier and even money to go a la carte. Also, was a bummer for the Seattle Art Museum to not be included in the pass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome CityPASS was a great money-saver. We enjoyed all five of the attractions - Space Needle and Aquarium + Museum of Pop Culture, one hour boat tour and Chihuly museum.
