Go Rio San Antonio River Cruises

Tips

• Guided cruises with narration in Spanish are available Thursday through Sunday from June through October, departing from the river level at the GO RIO Historia ticket office at 706 River Walk.
• The San Antonio River Walk is 15 miles long and flows through about 5 miles of downtown San Antonio. While there is no specific River Walk address, you can use the Shops at Rivercenter located on the River Walk as your GPS guide: 849 E. Commerce Street, San Antonio, TX 78205.
• Arrive 30 minutes prior to cruise departure to allow time to park and walk to the pickup location.
• Wear sunblock, sunglasses and a hat.

Amenities

• Dining/Gift Shops: Guests may visit our GO RIO Beverage Bar and Retail location near the Rivercenter Ticket Booth for frozen margaritas, piña coladas, beer, sodas or water to sip on while they enjoy a GO RIO Cruise or during their visit to the River Walk. Guests can also stock up on souvenirs or other necessities like sunblock.

Accessibility

• GO RIO is committed to serving people of all abilities. All barges are ADA accessible so that everyone can enjoy the tours, shuttles, and charters. Every attempt is made to provide reasonable accommodations for accessible seating, companion seating, and access ramps for any guest who requires it. For daily shuttle operation, GO RIO can accommodate two wheelchairs on each barge. Boarding ramps are available on board each GO RIO shuttle. Many riders with mobility impairments choose to transfer into seats next to companions/family members. Barge drivers reserve the seats closest to the boarding area for mobility-impaired passengers and make reasonable accommodation on a case-by-case basis. Drivers can place a companion chair next to passengers who prefer to remain in a wheelchair. The City of San Antonio keeps maps of accessible routes throughout the River Walk area with walkway routes and construction projects.
