Tips

The Museum hosts a lot of field trips during morning hours, so for a quieter experience, visit after 12pm.

To get the full experience, allow about two and a half hours for your visit. If you're short on time, don't miss the Dinosaur Hall.

Parking/Transportation

Parking is $18 onsite. The NHM Car Park is open from 9:15am–6pm and located on Bill Robertson Lane, just south of Exposition Boulevard. Ins and outs parking is not available. There are a limited number of ADA spots available for guests with visible ADA placards. The Museum has 40 new free charging stations for electric vehicles. Payment for this lot can be made with credit card only. Get directions and more information on parking and transportation.

Discover how these intelligent, family-centered animals live, communicate and thrive. View captivating sculptures, masks and prints by Indigenous artists of the Pacific Northwest coast that honor the compelling relationships between orcas and Northwest Coast First Nations. This special exhibition runs through April 2027 and requires a separate ticket, which you can purchase at the Museum.
