San Diego Zoo
The 100-acre San Diego Zoo is a not-for-profit conservation organization, accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the American Association of Museums. The Zoo is well known for its lush, naturalistic habitats and unique animal encounters. It is home to more than 3,700 rare and endangered animals representing approximately 660 species and subspecies and a prominent botanical collection with more than 700,000 plants.

CityPASS Admission
San Diego Zoo 1-Day Pass includes admission, unlimited use of Guided Bus Tour, Express Bus, and Skyfari Aerial Tram, all shows and exhibits.
Highlights
- Skyfari Aerial Tram: Take an airborne shortcut over the treetops and enjoy spectacular views of the Zoo, its animal and plant collection, and surrounding Balboa Park.
- Guided Bus Tours: Enjoy a 35-minute narrated tour on a double-decked bus covering about 70 percent of the San Diego Zoo.
- Panda Trek: One of the Zoo’s most popular areas transports guests into a world inspired by China’s giant panda reserves.
- Polar Bear Plunge: Kids of all ages can climb aboard an Arctic research helicopter, crawl into a bear den, pop their heads through a seal’s breathing hole or measure themselves against the size of a polar bear.
- Elephant Odyssey: The 7.5-acre habitat is a first-of-its-kind experience, providing an entertaining and educational journey.

CityPASS Admission
San Diego Zoo Safari Park Africa Tram Safari includes admission, unlimited rides on the Africa Tram, Cheetah Run, and all shows and exhibits.
Highlights
- Africa Tram: Takes guests around the Park’s field exhibits of herds of giraffes, crashes of rhinos and flocks of exotic birds on an open-air, soft-wheeled vehicle inspired by the legendary safari trains of Africa.
- Nairobi Village: Visit the Safari Park’s newest residents, Rodrigues flying foxes, as they explore a new 500-square-foot bat house.
- Cheetah Run: During Cheetah Run, the spotted sprinter races on a straight 330-foot-long track that allows the cheetah to really stretch its legs and reach an astounding speed: 0 to 70 miles per hour in just 4 seconds

We purchased the pass with San Diego Zoo included. We saved some money, and it was very convenient. While everybody had to go buy tickets at the counter, we went directly to the entrance. We had no trouble in any of the parks to use this ticket. Very easy!
