Zoo Atlanta A Parakeet Adventure

Feed hundreds of birds in a spectacular new opportunity unlike any other ever offered at Zoo Atlanta. The largest of its kind in the Southeast, the 2,200 square-foot aviary is home to some 500 colorful parakeets. Guests may obtain seed sticks to feed the birds, which freely engage with visitors for a thrilling experience.

While you’re here, don’t miss keeper talks, wildlife shows and regularly scheduled animal feedings. Special opportunities run daily at no additional cost. Check your Zoo map on the day of your arrival for a complete listing of the day’s activities.
