The New England Aquarium

The Aquarium is open and in the midst of an exciting renovation. A new angle during construction allows you to get up close and personal with many of the aquarium favorites.

Tropical Ocean Exhibit

While the Giant Ocean Tank is under construction, Myrtle, a 550-pound green sea turtle, and many of her friends such as, sharks, eels, stingrays, tarpon can be found patrolling the 150,000-gallon first level exhibit.

The Trust Family Foundation Shark and Ray Touch Tank

Experience sharks and rays in a tropical mangrove-themed setting. Touch their velvety and sandpapery skins as they glide beneath your fingertips.

Little Blue Penguins

Little blues are the smallest species of penguins in the world. See them in their cozy temporary exhibit near the New Balance Foundation Marine Mammal Center.

New Balance Foundation Marine Mammal Center

The open-air marine center features sweeping views of Boston Harbor. Watch California sea lions dart through the water and limber Northern fur seals lope.

My husband and I were in Boston for just four days and CityPass was a great way to see the sites. We enjoyed skipping the lines to purchase tickets. The Harvard Museum glass botanicals were a highlight!
