San Diego Zoo

We visited San Diego and went to the San Diego Zoo.  We went on a weekday during the day and the weather was amazing, but that's not new news.  We were able to see all of the animals and enjoyed our time there.  The polar bears, gorzillas, and panda bears were all sleeping while we were there.  It was cool to see the animals for a few mintues while they slept but they weren't that exciting to watch for more than a few mintues.  I'm not sure when they are active and moving around but whenever that time is would be the time that I would suggest you go see these animals.

The hippos were active and we spend probably thirty mintues watching them swim around.  It was great to see all the animals and to see them up close.  The San Diego Zoo was definetly worth the trip and something that I would like to do again.  We ate at one of the restaurants in the Zoo and we enjoyed it.  It was pricey but felt like it was quick and decent food. (I wasn't expecting amazing food) 

I hope this helps anyone thinking about going to the San Diego Zoo.  I would recommend it and plan on spending at least half a day at least when you go.  I've added a few pictures for all to see!
