With six people traveling to San Francisco it was important to make it enjoyable yet affordable. HomeAway.com allowed us to find a great condo across the street from the Pacific Ocean at a more reasonable rate than a hotel. CityPASS made it easy to navigate our way through the city using MUNI, the public transportation system in San Francisco. It was wonderful not having to worry about if we had the right amount of change to get on the MUNI, especially with six people. The CityPASS also allowed the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of activities that accommodated a wide variety of interests. The California Academy of Sciences was wonderful! We were able to experience the living roof, the rainforest, the aquarium, and the planetarium all in one building. I would say that the aquarium at the Academy was much be tter than the aquarium at Fisherman's Wharf. The Exploratorium was entertaining especially the exhibits about sound and music. We were also able to enjoy the SF Museum of Modern Art. If you are looking for something outside the city, I would suggest Muir Woods. You can enjoy hiking and Redwood trees! CityPASS San Francisco!
