my first experience to the big apple
i recenctly visited new york city for the first time. and i was blown away by the scale of the place. and the architecture of the buildings, each skyscraper was different to the last. I only stayed for 5 nights. but explored so much, i stayed at hotel pensylvannia on 33rd st 7th avenue. the first night i walked to times sqaure to see the famous place by night. it was truly amazing the lights were fantastic. on the second day i could the tub down to south ferry from here i borded the cirlce line cruises to the statue of liberty. that was a monumental sight and i had some pictures taken there. after seeing the statue of liberty i walked to the ground zero memmorial. that was a truly gripping experience and it made me remember all those who were lost to us on that dreadfull day. after ground zero i caught a train to brooklyn and walked the brooklyn bridge. i took plenty of photographs as i walked across back into manhattan. i then walked through china town into little italy all the way to the empire statebuilding. to see the sights by night. the empire state building by night is a truly amazing experience. and the view is magnifficent.
The next day i caught a tube to central park . after walking round centeral park i visited the metropolitan museum of art after this i visited the american museum of natural art. i walked back through the central park and had a photo next to the balto statue. I then walked to the rockafellla center and i admired the views on top of the rock. the views here i believe are much better than the views ontop of the empire state building. but they were both amazing sites. i did a bit of shopping in the rockafeller centre namley at Nintendo world. after this i walked to times sqaure again to do some shopping by day. i visited mid down comics and bought my self some graphic novels. that was a nice treat. i returned back to the hotel to enjoy the rest of the day and to have a lazy time. on the last day i walked back to the rockerfeller centre and then back through time square incase there was anything i missed. i owe a lot to city pass because if it wasnt for the cheap price for the passes i may not have been able to have experience as umuch of new york that i did. i had a brilliant time in the city that never sleeps and i hope to return again and experience more of what if has to offer
