Anniversary Trip to New York 2011
My wife and I went to New York for our one year anniversary on the July 4th weekend this year. We are from Canada and have stopped in to the city once before. We were aware of costs and line up waiting times for the attractions (i.e. The Empire State Building). We had heard of certain kinds of online passes and found CityPass and compared the general price with the individual prices for the 6 attractions included. We were shocked at the savings. Coupled with the fact that you can skip lines in some cases and that there was no hassle in getting tickets; you just present the pass and they either exchange it for a ticket or it is your ticket. We had a wonderful second honeymoon and got to see all that the pass included in just 4 days. We also were able to use the 15% discount at a restaurant at the bottom of the GE build ing at the Rockefeller center as well.
