Each San Francisco CityPASS booklet is yours to enjoy for nine days. A booklet is “activated” when you visit the first San Francisco attraction. So, you get the rest of that day and the following eight consecutive days to use the other five tickets. One ticket, one time.
Your Muni & Cable Car 7-day Passport is validated the day you start using your booklet. You have the day that the date is written/stamped on your booklet front, plus next 6 days to ride Muni for free. If you ride the Muni prior to visiting another attraction, the driver will stamp the date on your booklet when you board to activate it.
We deliberately designed San Francisco CityPASS to be valid up to nine days, to accommodate both weekend breaks and full-blown vacations. Weekend visitors depend on CityPASS as a well-edited line-up of spectacular museums, aquariums, cruises and cable car transportation. Vacationers with more time rely on San Francisco CityPASS as the foolproof foundation of must-sees, around which they can explore Union Square, Chinatown, the waterfront, flowery and crooked Lombard Street, North Beach, Mission District, and all the neighborhoods in between.
