My sister, niece and I visited Atlanta for a long weekend. We arrived Friday mid morning and started at CNN with our CityPass. We had ordered them on line and already had them in hand so that saved us time. By statrting at CNN we parked in the CNN parking lot and we were able to save $2.00 off parking with our CNN ticket stub. After CNN, we walked through Centennial Olympic Park towards The World fo Coca Cola and the Georgia Aquarium. You can save money for parking by staying in the CNN parking lot while attending the World of Coca Cola and the Aquarium. We did discover that parking is cheaper on Friday than on Sunday in most parking lots! We also did side trips to The Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum and the World market, a large grocery market with foods from all over the world. By having the CityPass and careful planning, we were able to visit all six attractions in the pass. This was a great money saver and helped us plan a wonderful weekend in Atlanta. Be sure to print maps of your route so you can manuver arounnd quickly and make the most of your time. Remember that CNN tours are available Mon-Fri so if going for the weekend, you must go there on Friday. Also, the Zoo opens the earliest of all the attractions on Sunday, so be there when they open for less crowds. Fernbank Natural History Museum opens late on Sunday so that was our last stop before leaving town for home. We enjoyed our visit and will definelty use the CityPass where available for any cities we visit in the future.
