During high travel seasons such as holidays and summer, entry lines can be longer than usual. Please keep this in mind when planning your visits to the attractions.

  • Madame Tussauds Hollywood may close early on occasion for special events. Please call (323) 798-1670 or visit their website for updates; see details.
  • Arrive before noon before the crowds roll in.
  • Be sure to bring a camera! And also get souvenir photos at Madame Tussauds photo counter or online.
Hollywood Behind-the-Scenes Tour
  • This tour is a leisurely stroll suitable for all ages, covering less than 3 blocks and going inside venues not accessible to the public and only accessible by foot.
  • 10am and 4pm tours are often less crowded.
Starline Movie Stars’ Homes Tour
  • During summertime, arrive early in the morning to avoid crowds.
  • Starline validates 2 hours of Hollywood & Highland Center garage parking for $2. Garage entrances: 1755 N. Highland and 1754 Orange Drive.
  • Timed Tour reservations are made only on a walk-up basis. Advance reservations are not available.
  • Group reservations for 7 or more people are not available.
  • Groups of 7 or more who are taking the Starline Movie Stars Homes Tour should expect to take the tour at their leisure rather than to experience it as a group.

  • Buses are open-top, so bring sunscreen for the day and warmer clothing for the evening.
  • Sensible shoes should be worn to facilitate movement on and off the buses and up and down the stairs to the upper level.
