A magical evening in NYC

I took my girlfriend to New York City for the first time last week. Our first glimpse of the Empire State Building from the train began what was to be a magical and unforgettable weekend.  After an afternoon strolling central park and visiting the Top of the Rock we left our hotel for the evening city lights.  On our way to dinner I led my girlfriend on a detour through the magestic Lincoln Centre where we paused to enjoy the scenerity of the cool evening air, the warm glow of the lights, and the gracefully cascading fountain. It was then that I pulled an engagement ring from my pocket and got down on one knee. In a split second of emotion my now fiance's face gave way to surprise followed by share joy.  After an evening out on the town we awoke to a city covered in snow, truely a magical start to a new stage in our lives.
