Hotel Sierra –Bellevue, Wash.

by city'zen on June 25, 2009

I count on CityPass in Seattle, and like to find deals in line with CityPass’s standards and service.  My friend recommended the Hotel Sierra –Bellevue for our family getaway.  What a find.  What a deal.  The weekend rate for this typically corporate hotel fell nicely under $100, and included full breakfast and free parking.  Our rooms were clean and fresh.  Each of our two rooms had two queen beds, a good-size bathroom, and flat-screen television.  Note:  The room rate – and breakfasts – applied for up to four people per room. The hotel’s breakfast buffet offers hot and cold items, Starbucks coffees, teas, juices, assorted fresh fruit, and a made-to-order omelet station.  Gracie and Edward slipped an apple or banana into their backpacks “for later.”

I hear Hotel Sierra’s weekend reservations go fast, but the drive into either Seattle or Bellevue is so easy and the accommodations so pleasant, I would plan ahead to book this deal.  I couldn’t beat the price with breakfast and parking.  The hospitality I experienced was warm and welcoming; the kids loved the pool and I appreciated the fitness room treadmill.  Oooops, almost forgot to mention  happy hour prices — and decent casual dining — that could spare you a trip out for dinner.
