What's New at the Space Needle

Adventure Aquarium Celebrates Shark Week

What's older than sharks? Almost nothing. Sharks have been swimming in the ocean for more than 400 million years. They predate practically everything that has a spine, including humans and dinosaurs. Here's another fun shark fact: Adventure Aquarium is the only aquarium in the country with a hammerhead shark. Movies Come to Life at Museum of Science's New 4-D Theater

Swimming with bottlenose dolphins in search of food is probably something most people will never experience, but a visit to the Museum of Science, Boston may get you closer to knowing what it would feel like. The Museum’s new 4-D Theater, which opened a week ago, will transform the way museum visitors experience film. 4-D combines the high definition features of a 3-D film with physical special effects, making viewers feel as though they are part of the movie. read more »
