Pacific Science Center: Closure dates and rain checks

The Pacific Science Center will be closed to the public from September 14 - 25, 2009 for re-modeling and updating and on each Tuesday from September 29, 2009 - May 25, 2010 (except for Seattle school breaks). The Boeing IMAX theater will be closed September 14 - 17 and will re-open on the 18th with the new movie Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs.

We encourage you to visit the Pacific Science Center on a day when it is open. If travel plans do not allow, CityPass ticketholders visiting on any of the above closure dates should visit a PSC ticket booth. In exchange for your CityPass ticket, you’ll receive entrance to an IMAX film plus a rain check with an extended expiration date to return to view the exhibits.
