THE FRANKLIN INSTITUTE ADMISSION USING CITYPASS INCLUDES:

  • One Franklin Institute general admission
  • One Fels Planetarium Show
  • IMAX® Theater ($5.50) and special ticketed exhibitions sold separately at an additional cost
  • The traveling exhibits BodyWorlds 2 & The Brain (October 2009-April 2010) and Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Egypt(June 2010-Jan 2011) are not included with CityPass.

HOW TO ENTER WITH YOUR CITYPASS TICKET:

  • Present booklet or e-ticket at the main Box Office.
  • During busy times in summer and on weekends, the Membership Desk may be used by CityPass booklet and e-ticket holders to skip the main ticket line.

GATE PRICE (WITHOUT CITYPASS):

$14.75 for adults, $12.00 for youth. (See full price comparison for details.)

INSIDER TIPS:

  • Arrive early on weekends and holidays to avoid crowds. During these times CityPass holders can also check in at the Franklin Membership Desk.
  • Tuttleman IMAX® movies frequently sell out; the Franklin Institute recommends that you call to purchase your tickets in advance, (215) 448-1254 or tickets can be purchased online at www.fi.edu

  • Science Museum and Fels Planetarium open daily 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • IMAX open evenings, check The Franklin Institute website for schedule
  • Closed April 29, 2010, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

PARKING:

Parking garage entrance located at 21st and Winter Streets. Limited, metered street parking is available. Be advised that The Franklin Institute Garage has limited parking for over sized vans, trucks and SUVs. You may be directed to other garages if your vehicle cannot be accommodated. The Franklin Institute Visitor parking rates are: Up to 5 hours: $12; 5-12 hours: $15; 12-24 hours (maximum) $25.
